Joseph Bennett-Culham

Joseph Bennett-Culham is a native of Elmina in the Central Region of Ghana. He has lived in Ghana since he was born. Mr. Culham's roots trace back to Scotland, as his grandfather hailed from the Scottish heritage. However, the trajectory of his life took a turn of challenges when he lost his father at a young age. Faced with the adversity of becoming a single mother and being unemployed, his mother encountered difficulties in providing for him. In the absence of paternal support, Mr. Culham found himself navigating the challenges of life, learning to fend for himself during his formative years.

In a fortuitous turn of events, a benevolent friend of his late father extended a helping hand, offering Mr. Culham the opportunity to delve into the realm of art. This unexpected opportunity became more than a mere pursuit; it transformed into a passion and a profession. Through the intricate world of art, he discovered not only a means of expression but also a lifeline during challenging times.

Culham

Having experienced the struggle of overcoming adversity firsthand, Mr. Culham developed a deep sense of empathy for those facing similar hardships. The memory of his own journey fueled a determination to make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged. Motivated by a sincere desire to give back, he decided to utilize the skills and knowledge he gained from his artistic endeavors to support those in need. The connection between his personal history and the compassion he developed through his own struggles serves as the driving force behind Mr. Culham's philanthropic efforts. The profound understanding of the difficulties faced by the underprivileged has instilled in him a sense of responsibility to contribute positively to their lives. Through his art, he not only found a means of self-expression but also a powerful tool to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others who share a similar journey of adversity.
